This year, the Club will raise money for the Spokane Group Cup of Cool Water an organization that assists marginalized youths and young adults who do not have a place to call home. They operate a drop-in center Monday through Thursday where they serve hot meals, provide showers, clothing and internet access. Additionally, referral services are provided along with job training to meet the needs for 18 - 24 year olds.
Cup of Cool Water's Director, Daniel, and Assistant Director, Ashley, spoke at the October Luncheon. They shared a video of their program and took questions from members.
Members of the Club attended the Cup of Cool Water Auction and Gala in October. Those attending came in third in the dessert dash competition and contributed to the auction and are seen toasting with their cupcakes.
