One of the best ways to keep up to date with the many Compass Club activities is through the "The Compass Rose," the Club's monthly newsletter (September through June). The newsletter povides information about upcoming events, members, and events after they happen. The newsletter is emailed to all members and the latest issues can be downloaded right here. If you are interested in back issues, please contact Compass Club News. Newsletters are emailed to current members around the 15th of the month. If you do not get yours, please contact Compass Club News.

Important Club Member Information:

• The December Luncheon will be held on December 3 and will include a bake and craft sale that will benefit the Club. See luncheon details on page 1 of the December newsletter or contact Kate Mietus at kate6154@gmail.com or Dorothy Klepp at kleppd@yahoo.com for more information. Reservations need to be made by noon on Tuesday, November 26 by either texting or emailing Sheryl Krauser (509.435.2535 or skrauser@comcast.net).
• BAKE & CRAFT SALE - Taking place during December Luncheon
  • Bring your baked items to the luncheon and they will be displayed on tables. No need to price your baked goods as they will be purchased by donation.
  • Bring your craft items to the luncheon and mark them with a price.

• Reservation reminders:
  • Reservations are usually, unless otherwise indicated, due by noon on the Thursday before luncheons, which take place (except in January, July, and August) on the first Tuesday of the month. (Note: There are no luncheons in January, July, or Augest.) Please note that your December reservation is due on November 26.
  • Text or email Sheryl with your luncheon reservation before the due date.
• Include your name in your reservation request.
• Check for a confirmation email or text from Sheryl.
  • if you do not receive a confirmation, email or text Sheryl again.
• Email or text Sheryl in advance if you need to cancel your reservation - a reservation made is a luncheon paid.
• If, because of dietary reasons, you are just reserving a seat and no meal, let Sheryl know - $10.
• If there are lunch options provided, you need to inform Sheryl of your choice when making your reservation.
  
• Updated 2024-25 Directories were sent out on the September 10th and the December newsletter was sent out on November 15h. Please contact Compass Club News if you did not receive either.
• Our yearly dues ($25) is due in June of each year. According to the by-laws (available in the Directory), members who have not paid dues are not eligable to receive the newsletter, attend luncheons, or special interest events. If you are not sure if your dues is up to day, contact Maureen Boutz @ myboutz@hotmail.com.
