One of the best ways to keep up to date with the many Compass Club activities is through the "The Compass Rose," the Club's monthly newsletter (September through June). The newsletter provides information about upcoming events. The newsletter is emailed to all members and the latest issues can be downloaded right here. Important Club Member Information and upcoming events:

• The March Luncheon will take place on March 4th at the Airport Ramada Inn, 8909 W Airport Drive. Reservations must be made before noon on February 27, 2025. For more information about the luncheon, please see the March Newsletter - a copy of which was sent to each member and is available below.
• Our March Luncheon will include our annual auction. Please see important details about the auction in the March newsletter. Information regarding donated items is included. If you have any questions, please contact Carole Parfett, our fundraising chair. Her contact information is listed in the directory. Along with our auction, we will be collecting items to donate to Value Village to support Cup of Cool Water. More information about our "Soft Goods Donation Day" can be found in theMarch newsletter and on the Philanthropy Page.

• Save the Date for the next Wine Dinner which will be held on Thursday, March 20, at 5 pm in the Sky Lounge at Rockwood South Hill. The cost is $100 which can be paid the night of the event with a check made out to "Compass Club." The venue can seat 32 comfortably, and members and their families and friends are invited. For reservations and more information, contact Maureen Boutz at myboutz@hotmail.com. Reservations need to be made by March 12. The full menu along with wine parings is in the March newsletter.
• The April Luncheon will be a Pink Tea. You are invited to join in by wearing pink or other "tea" related items like a hat or fascinator. More information will be available in the April Newsletter.
• Luncheon Reservation Reminders:
  • Reservations are usually, unless otherwise indicated, due by noon on the Thursday before luncheons, which take place (except in January, July, and August) on the first Tuesday of the month. (Note: There are no luncheons in January, July, or Augest.)
  • Text or email Sheryl Krauser with your luncheon reservation before the due date.
• Include your name in your reservation request.
• Check for a confirmation email or text from Sheryl.
  • If you do not receive a confirmation, email or text Sheryl again.
• Email or text Sheryl in advance if you need to cancel your reservation - A reservation made is a luncheon paid.
• If, because of dietary reasons, you are just reserving a seat and no meal, let Sheryl know - $10.
• If there are lunch options provided, you need to inform Sheryl of your choice when making your reservation.
  
• Updated 2024-25 Directories were sent out on the September 10th and the January newsletter was sent out on December 14. Please contact compassclubnews@gmail.com if you did not receive either.
• Our yearly dues of $25 is due in June of each year. According to the by-laws (available in the Directory), members who have not paid dues are not eligable to receive the newsletter, attend luncheons, or special interest events. If you are not sure if you are up to date, contact Maureen Boutz @ myboutz@hotmail.com.
